The ah@le transport company that delivered my car when I bought it managed to drip antifreeze all over the windows. The rainbow streaks remained after 10 hand washes. I took it to the dealer, and they used "000" steel wool to remove it, and not alot of effort I may add. It worked like a charm. Good luck.

Just wanted to Chime in about the Car Wash thing:
NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO A CAR WASH!!!! If your are trying to impress a girl, look at it this way a dirty vette is better than a clean mustang any day of the week- and what we consider dirty may not be that bad at all
Take it to a good glass place they have compounds that they can use to buff it out. They can take out fine scratches so if the can do that they should be able to repair your stains. This should not be a problem for them. Also if it's on the windshield I would suspect that it's also on the side windows and rear glass too. But like I said they will get it done in no time. Keep us posted.
