Default Question about car covers.

In April my son and I are going to take the vette down to Florida. We will have to stay overnight about halfway down. My question is, do you think that a car cover will attrack more attention in a hotel parking lot rather than an uncoverd vette?

Actually a car cover is a good idea - it will protect from the casual stuff like keying and other things. Some better car covers even have locks - It makes getting to the car more attention drawing and more difficult

I carry a cover whenever I go on a road trip. I also only stay at "brand name" hotels with lighted drive-thru foyers in front.

When I check in the first thing I do is "buddy-up" to the desk clerks, especially the nightshift person about "helping" me keep an eye on the wheels. I won't go into details but I've been known to use bribes like food or cash

More often than not I'm allowed to leave it covered and parked right in the drive-thru. I didn't rack up 120K miles cruisin' around town and I've yet to have a problem at a hotel.

I wouldn't worry about it if you stay at a reputable place with decent parking.
