It was around in '75, cause that's when I got my first vette and was surprised when people on other vettes starting waving at me.. I'm kinda slow on the up-take, but it didn't take too long to figure this one out!

Lot's don't, but I still do.. It will die if we don't attempt to keep it going...

As much as it pains me to say this .... there are people who buy Corvettes and for them it's just another car. They beat'em; leave them dirty; and then just move on to the next ride. They won't typically be your wave sort of people. Me? I sometimes forget and even wave when I'm in the company Trailblazer! Have fun ... and

My salesman told me about the wave. Someone posted several weeks ago that the wave is mentioned in the C6 owners manual.
Most Vette owners will wave, some won't. Get used to it. Just keep on waving.....

Don't know when it started but got my first Vette in 1980 and the wave was alive and well then. It seems to me just about everyone waved back then.

I went without a Vette from '91 up until 3 weeks ago. In that time I have noticed about half the drivers do not wave. It appears the wave may be going out of style like 50 cent gasoline and good music.

Back in '55, when I got my first Vette, everybody driving a SportsCar waved. Back then, it was mainly the MGs, Jags, Healys & Triumphs because there were few Vettes out there. But, the Vette and the wave survived were most of the other brands didn't.
