I know this is subjective but....... '99 Coupe with Z51 suspension, daily driver, never raced but I do get frisky in a straight line once in awhile. Is there a radical difference in the ride comfort when chosing between HD and Sport Bilstein shocks? Which one do you consider a direct OE replacement? Your opinions please.

I have the Sports, they are a little firmer when you hit the bumps, but they do handle better. They still offer a good ride and they are good for cars that have been lowered as well.

i had the Z51 on my 01', and i uprgraded to the Z06 sways, then decided to do the bilstein shocks. i went with the sports. my car is also lowered, and i guess it helped some. nothing DRAMATIC. seems like bumps feel better, and steering response seemed tighter if cut the wheel to one side, then quickly back to the other, and so forth. but for regular driving, i dont think its that big of a deal. arent they about the same price though? if so just get the sports. my .02
