Bought a C5 today ...
Sold my offshore boat in 2003 and sold my Harley last summer. I've been toyless for too long ...
Bought a 2003 Coupe,6 speed, spiral gray, 1SB, 5,900 miles, polished wheels, both tops, and magnetic ride from a Chevy dealer 300 miles away. I pick it up Wednesday.
Came very close to buying a 1965 327/365 Convertable but decided I wanted something more reliable that I could take trips with and put 5K to 8K a year on.
The last Vette I owned was a 1968 that I had for three years and sold in 1972. This one will be for summer fun. My normal driver? A 2004 Subaru WRX.

I don't really plan to do many mods. If I wanted to go fast, I would have bought a Z06. Probably the only thing I may consider after I drive it a while would be Corsa Touring exhaust. I'll have to ride in a car that has it already first.
