True. Maybe we'll get a wet summer...

Wife and I are heading over to Walla Walla in a few minutes to see my daughter in college...can't believe I get to do the mountain pass thing in the middle of Winter. Should be a gorgeous drive...

Hey, Red Racer. If this rain keeps up, then there could be a mass exodus from so. cal to tacoma.

Driving in the rain the last couple days has sucked! The rain was going sideways this morning!

Gosh, for a moment, I thought I was living up in Oregon again. I don't know who is sending us all the water but may I be the first to say thanks.

We are enjoying an unprecedented clear and dry February up here in Washington state. Absolutely gorgeous. I've been drivinig Red Racer every day around here for the last 2 weeks.

Weather is so good that I'm driving the Vette over the mountains to visit my daughter in college at Walla Walla tomorrow. Most winters, one could not even contemplate doing that with the mountain passes covered in snow and ice and all.

Looks like we've traded weather or something...
Glad you are having such good weather.
I grew up in Walla Walla. Your daughter must be going to Whitman, a very good school. I am now in San Diego and we have had more rain this year than Seattle/Tacoma.

Holy ****, when you guys in Cally get weather, you get weather, we may get some snow or rain, but you guys get slammed.

I am going out for some drinks tonight, in honor of Cally, I'm going to have some frozen mudslides.

5150 BRD,

I've not met many people that actually grew up there!

We just got back. Had a great drive over the pass...it was an absolute gorgeous day.

That was our longest cruise so far in the Vette...564 miles round trip. Talk about a great cruiser!! Comfortable, fast, great handling...Maybe you remember Interstate 82 out of Ellensburg up the big hill towards Yakima. Gave Red Racer a good workout going up it this morning. And I did observe the speed limit. I really did observe it on the signpost on the side of the road. It said 70 MPH.

Just saw the weather down your way on the news...Wow. You all are getting soaked! Now I'm starting to feel sorry for you SoCal drivers. Really rare that you get more rain than we do.

Well, we'll enjoy the great driving weather as long as we can..

Going out to launch the car. I added pontoons and sonar last night. Be back later ... hopefully ... will give report of new mod's effectiveness. I'll try and get some pix thru the periscope.

From some of the newsclips on last night's news, you aren't really that far from the truth. Saw where the 101 was looking like a river with some cars about to float on by.

Be safe out there...

We've had our share of crummy weather here this year too. Hopefully things will clear up soon and the car can come out.
