Sorry, but it's tough to feel bad for you SoCal guys. You guys get most of the great weather most of the time.
We are enjoying an unprecedented clear and dry February up here in Washington state. Absolutely gorgeous. I've been drivinig Red Racer every day around here for the last 2 weeks.
Weather is so good that I'm driving the Vette over the mountains to visit my daughter in college at Walla Walla tomorrow. Most winters, one could not even contemplate doing that with the mountain passes covered in snow and ice and all.
...not today! It's absolutely beautiful here in San Diego. I still tell family back East that we had no rain from April to November of last year. For that reason, few are complaining too loudly when we have higher-than-average rainfall during these Winter months.

yeah i got stuck in a freakin' HAILSTORM yesterday, the rain was so bad. i'm going to go down to the garage and wash the car this a.m., survey the (hopefully none) damage to the paint.
driving home from the store early in the a.m., the cops had blocked off the main road into my home town. i was a little ticked, and had to do a 20 mile detour. turns out there was 2-3 feet of water on the road, totally flooded (my neighbor cruised through it in his 4x4, but saw lots of stranded cars).
after hearing of the flood, and how i had to take a detour, i'll take a 20 mile detour anyday rather than have a hydrolocked vette....
Hey Cal. guys since we have your weather, does that mean our property values go through the ceiling. I won't hold my breath on this weather thing I've lived here a long time.
Well I rub our weather in enough guess it's our turn in the barrel But I have to say it's still 3 days off and raining I hope you like my PS pictures I'm sure there will be more
From: "It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and

Southern California is not alone - in the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix Arizona - should be Valley of the flooded wash...)
We have gotten over 4" of rain since January 1st - our average annual rainfall is just a little over 8". It has rained nearly every day for the last week - and it's supposed to rain this coming week nearly every day.
This is not the weather I moved away from the Midwest for......I hate cloudy days!
From: Los Angeles, CA.... I know a guy who has a Lambo with Corvette doors
I got my car at the beginning of the month & I have had one nice Sunday so far . It's ok, it always rains in Feb. I'm just hoping that next Sun it's nice, so I can go run at LACR .

Southern California? Where's that? San Diego (my favorite city!!!) Where's that? Rain? What's that? Hail? What's that? Car wash? What's that? Actually getting to drive your Corvette? What's up with that? Ah, life in Minnesota...now that's where its at!! Let's see...where's the shovel, my down filled coat, "Fargo hat," fur lined gloves, snow boots, face mask? Oh, gee, that must be my Corvette under that gray cover over there in the garage with the battery tender hooked up and mouse traps all around. Enjoy your weather!!! I'm jealous!!! Dan
