From: If you don't weigh in you don't wrestle Road America
If you plan on doing any road racing/track days Just buy the $25 NAPA rotors. They will last longer and won't crack. Unless you get two piece (about $200 a rotor) the slotted or drilled rotors are machined into the rotors after they are cast. Any kind of track days will chew those rotors up in a weekend. If your just doing it for looks then the power slot rotors from the tire rack aren't bad about $100 each. Otherwise you can find Raybestos for cheaper(www.rockauto.com). I still think the NAPA rotors are the way to go get yourself some Wilwood J compound pads from LG Motorsports and you will definatly see a differance. Changing out the brake fluid with Ford HD or Wilwood would be a good step too. Ask this question in the Autocrossing and Roadracing page and you will hear this from about 10 other members.
