No rust, except the rust that forms on the pad wearing area after a rain or from sitting a few days outside in the rain. This is normal since the pad area has no zinc coating on it due to the pads wearing it off.
I have been extremely satisfied with my sportbrakes.
You guys running these rotors have any problem with the pad surface having a tarnished look? Mine do, wondered if this will wear off in time. I have about 200 miles on them now.
They are sometimes slow to respond,I had the same problem but once I got ahold of them everything went smooth. I've had the rotors on my car for about 3000 miles the only rust I have seen is on the outside edge of the rotor, next to the cooling fins. I guess it gets to hot out there for the zinc to last.
I have heard they do sell their rotora on ebay. I looked and could not find anything. It would be great if someone could post a link to their ebay sale section. I tried for about a month during december and january to contact them. Phone calls, emails, messages...no response . I lost interest and went with a set of 1 pc baer rotors for about $200 bucks extra in a group purchase. i am happy.
I just purchases a set from them. I called during a week day and someone picked right up. They gave me a great deal $290 (shipping included), for all four zinc coated slotted cross drilled rotors. I ordered on a Tuesday, received a shipping notice the same day and received the product in great shape on Friday.
FYI, I also can’t say enough about house of wheels same great experience. This is all within the last few weeks.
