Default Sportbrakes.com????

Are these guys still around? Their website seems to be up, but their note regarding a new shopping cart has been up there forever.

I tried to call several times this past week, no answer. not even an answering machine.

Anyone got any info?

Great... I was beginning to worry they were out of business or something! I will try and call them next week again!

BTW, have you guys had any rust issues yet? I know their supposed to be zinc plated to prevent this, but just curious if any signs of rust yet?

Thanks

No rust, except the rust that forms on the pad wearing area after a rain or from sitting a few days outside in the rain. This is normal since the pad area has no zinc coating on it due to the pads wearing it off.
I have been extremely satisfied with my sportbrakes.

You guys running these rotors have any problem with the pad surface having a tarnished look? Mine do, wondered if this will wear off in time. I have about 200 miles on them now.

Thanks...John

They are sometimes slow to respond,I had the same problem but once I got ahold of them everything went smooth. I've had the rotors on my car for about 3000 miles the only rust I have seen is on the outside edge of the rotor, next to the cooling fins. I guess it gets to hot out there for the zinc to last.

I have heard they do sell their rotora on ebay. I looked and could not find anything. It would be great if someone could post a link to their ebay sale section. I tried for about a month during december and january to contact them. Phone calls, emails, messages...no response . I lost interest and went with a set of 1 pc baer rotors for about $200 bucks extra in a group purchase. i am happy.

I just purchases a set from them. I called during a week day and someone picked right up. They gave me a great deal $290 (shipping included), for all four zinc coated slotted cross drilled rotors. I ordered on a Tuesday, received a shipping notice the same day and received the product in great shape on Friday.

FYI, I also can’t say enough about house of wheels same great experience. This is all within the last few weeks.

They are somewhere close to me. If someone could provide a "return addres", I'd be happy to swing by one afternoon and take a look for ya.

I used to have thier address, but can't locate it.
