Chrome Screws?

I bought some hardware store screws and took the originals out and replaced with cheapos, took originals to chrome shop. I called chromer yesterday about my parts and was told everything was done, BUT, they lost all my screws !!!! Was told to buy new ones and they would foot the bill. So now i have to order new ones,wait till they get here and then wait another 4 to 6 weeks for chrome. Sometimes doing this stuff is a real pain in the butt. The new screws are 2.39 ea. plus shipping.
I have found that some of the stuff you buy already chromed is not that good, especially screws. Good luck
