I also like the Hurst T handles. I had one that I had already drilled out to fit the threads on my SS Camaro, but the threads are too big to re-fit it to the Corvette so I went with the classic Hurst white ball on the Z06. I may have to try to find another T handle.
I was thinking about this since I got my Z06 and was wondering why I hadn't seen any on this forum. Looks good and reminds me of my brothers old Trans-am that I used to steal in the old daze (he was usually in jail so I was just keeping it fresh for him!)
I like may retro look and reminds me of my 68 camaro 4sp
Now that's really reto....!!! Looks very cool! Right down to the reverse lockout... I like the way you put the shift patteren from the old shifter on the console!! Does anyone make a decal for the six speed?
Just buy a shift pattern and sand the back down slowly the plastic is very soft. Double back tape in place. I think the pattern was $14 about 4 years ago.
..Looks good...I might not have developed the T-shifter if the HURST letters were more on the top....
...but I like it enough to create the T-shifter...
Eckler's sell the ***** and t handle look under the 68-70 corvettes. The **** threads right up. The t handle needs to be cut down at the base, I just ground it down on a grinder. The t handle will spin around so put alittle goop on it and it will be rock solid.I put a little plastic inside the **** to act as a spacer to separate the t handle from the ****.Other wise it screws down too close to the t handle. The chrome **** is much shorter than the stock ****.

Ive seen your T-shifter before. Kinda gave me the idea to do the Hurst. I like yours, but just not real crazy about the "block" shape or the size of the stamped name. But cool still....
