Default I finally pulled the trigger!

Woooo Wooo! I placed my order with Ken and Sandy King at Vette Essentials today! I am soooo pumped! I ordered the whole shebang - seats, foam, shifter boot and ****, ebrake handle and boot, door pulls, arm rests, console cover, steering wheel, and those little seat bags/fanny packs!

I can't wait! Like Ken said - "I don't like waiting for my burgers at the drive-thru!"

But, I gotta be patient (I will be somehow - I promised Ken I wouldn't call him and pester the crap out of him! )

I know the drill......I'll post pics when it's done!

By any chance did you check on the 'trunk pack' (it is like a computer case - and can be stiched and logo'ed anyway you want)?

We got ours, and love them!

Actually what I ordered isn't exactly on the VE site - at least in grey and black. It a predominatly grey seat with black accents and the center band in black with grey stitching. On the steering wheel, I wanted the grey on the bottom only The rest of it is the garden variety HIGH QUALITY V.E. stuff!

Oh I know I'm gonna love it - I love it already!

I told Ken that I've put a lot of time into making my car look as good as I can - but with the worn bolsters and the tear in the seat on driver's side......it's kind of like having Shania Twain walking towards you real slow with nothing on but the radio, in kind of a slow, erotic, sort of way (are you getting a mental image, yet?)......

The she gets close, and turns her cheek towards you to plant a light and gentle kiss......AND SHE HAS THIS BIG OLD F'N ANGRY LOOKING ZIT ON HER CHEEK!!!! It spoils the whole image! See what I mean?

My car is black with a grey interior. I stayed with that theme. What I ordered is a grey seat with black accents. If you look on their website, the yellow car on the front page is Ken's. If you look at those seats, where his are black, mine will be grey. Where his are yellow, mine will be black. The band in the seat back that says CORVETTE...will be black with grey lettering. I didn't order the console cover with a logo (and Ken agrees BTW) because of the logo on the water fall just a few inches away. The headrests will have the C5 logo embroidered in full color with a black ring and flag posts.

The steering wheel will only have the grey accent panel on the bottom - I figured I'd keep my sweaty hands off the lighter color.....

Everything else is two tone black and grey.

I've wanted this since I bought my car Stock Man, and after waiting about a year and half - I've ordered it!

Sorry if I've repeated myself, guys and gals.....I'm just excited!
