Nitrous
Has any one put nitrous on their Z06 and how much horse power did you get? what type kit did you put in? I am thinking about adding a Nitrous Express kit to may 02 Z06. how safe do you think the new systems are?

A lot of guys have done it; check out the C5 FI/Nitrous area on this forum. I ran a 100 shot on top of a Cartek 3X last year with no problems (578 rwhp/600 rwt). You can run a 100 hp wet shot safely as long as you use the proper parts - window switch, timing retard, etc. I'd have a professional with access to a chassis dyno (with wide band O2 capability) install and test the system. Two things that you must avoid to prevent engine damage are detonation and running lean.

389 on motor, 510 on bottle with 125 NX Wet kit. Go-go juice is your friend! TR6 plugs and have it tuned on the dyno to make sure your A/F ratio is inline. I highly recommend you get a window switch as well. Enjoy the lack of traction!
