Just curious if something like this would work with the stock suspention. I'm sure something would snap, but I was wondering if anyone has done this. I would think that the reason someone would do this is if someone had an EXTEMELY low Vette and wanted to jack it up when they would go over a speed bump or something. Not looking to get flamed, but just thinking out of the box.
It would not a big deal to put bags on a vette. You would have to dump the leaf springs and install the bags. If you were serious I would measure the factory shock and see if you can get something already made for another car. Might have to do a little fab work. The real kicker would be where to put the compressor and tank. There is no room for those under the car. Maybe behind one of the fenders you could put a compressor and a tank under the other. Defiently do not want to put a compressor in the car. It is doable.
Let me just say, that I have no intention of making my Vette a lowrider, and I don't know who's car this is. I'm just curious of how people can make drive cars so low and not tear it to pieces drving it around town. Not everyone can dodge every little dip and such. And thinking along those lines, just wondering if anyone has bagged their Vette or know if something like that would even work.
Lambo put some type of car lifting device on the front of one of their cars. I believe it lifted the front by 5" to get up steep driveways. There's a kit for imports that's supposed to be track ready. If there was something like that for the Vette, I'd be tempted.
Don't get me wrong, I wanna lower my Vette, but nothing like the pic posted. But, since I'm getting my Tigershark front fascia and chin spoiler on, I wanna see if there's anything people have done or explored to avoid doing unwanted damage.

Something like this I mean....
sorry man i love vettes but THAT is i mean really its a joke right??? shamefull is a understatement
Well, in the military we're supposed to check out our vehicles before we do anything else. With it dropped as low as in that pic, there's no need to look under the car!
That pic has shown up here in C5 General several times before. Speculation by many is that it's a photochop.
exactly...as someone pointed out before, there are no headlights,no door handles..no gas door..doesn't even look like tires are actually on the rims.. it' a ghost car
