I just installed my Vararam, and I was wondering do if you all have any problem putting the lid back on when changing out filters? The reason I ask is b/c I was changing out my filter, and could not get the system to perfectly fit. I couldn't get it to close in the back against the shroud with the ducts pressing against it. Any way to resolve this issue?
Silican sealant - Mine doesn't seal properly either. I used slican sealant to seal the filter (I'm currently using he K&N) into the filter housing. I just have to cut it out when I replace it but thats not problem, silican sealant yields to a knife very well. Just don't use glue!!!

Did you feel a noticeable difference in before and after the vararam was installed?
I haven't installed mine yet, but the photo's on the Vararam web site indicate that there are spacers used on the fog lamp shroud that will offset the lower half to accomdate either stock or a larger aftermarket air bridge. Did you use the spacers when you did the installation?

Sounds like you have the same problem I did. Click the Vararam link in my sig.
It's very nice to see I'm not the only one that is experiencing this. Did you feel any difference in the before and after? I notice I'm getting like 40 mpg at 30 mph cruise and about 33-35 mpg at 45 mph cruise.
