Welcome to the forum and stay away from EnglandGreen he is our resident ricer and neon specialist. it is a miracle that he hasn't tried to get you to join his Rorvette club. Just kidding EG
As for the exhaust there are a few members with the magnaflow but many forum members are using Borla and Corsa exhausts
I had the Magnaflow exhaust. It is a Very high quailty exhaust with a deep rumble at idle. It is a good sounding system no resonation(sp) on the road, but it was not loud enuff for me. Now I have the Borla Stinger and it is a Very Nice system too.

I just installed the Maganflow System (15713; no x-pipe) along with a set of Dynatech headers (Cats and X-pipe) and Vararam intake. Love the deep 60's rumble at idle and really makes the car sound beastly at WOT. I prefer this to the "exotic" sounding systems which sound more like a european sports car. I will admit at 1500 RPM there is a bit of resonance which unfortunately is right at the 70 MPH cruise point with my 3:42/MN6 combo. I believe that most of the systems out there produce some sort of resonance but you should check around. As long as you are cruising under little load it is OK. If you have an A4 with 2:73/3:15's you should be OK. Sometimes I just drop back to 5th to bring the RPM's to 1900 and then it is as quiet as the stock. I have been contemplating a set of 3:90's anyway!
The quality and workmanship is A1 and the polished Stainless mufflers are almost too nice to be hidden. I recommend Magnaflow but also recommend that you get out and actually listen to other cars. Make sure they are equipped similar to yours and then bite the bullet and mod it. Also, last comment, do it for the sound and not the performance increase as Catback systems don't contribute too much in that catagory. Also, you may want to consider the system with the X-pipe included to cut down on decel popping.
Thanks a lot Ed, great advice, i actually have the magnaflow with the x pipe now, just not sure if i will alter my baby. But all i want is the sound and looks, im not that into speed and hard acceleration with her. But i admit i do spank her once in a great while
Welcome to the forum! Many are using the Borla Stingers. Check out the C-5 parts for sale section. I thought I seen them advertised for
approximately $600.00 or less plus shipping. I have heard them and they sound great. I also like the B&B PRT's.
Welcome to Corvette Forum! If you can go to a Vette meet or club meeting and here the different system it'll definately help your decision! I went with Corsa Indys with a X-Pipe!
