Saw an article in this months Corvette Magazine. In it, the reader asked how to tell the difference between Tour and Sport modes when selected on the Damping Switch.
The answer was that it should be a "noticeably stiffer tauter ride". The interesting point was the other remark:
"If you can't really tell any difference, the MSRC "shock stuffers" may not have been removed during the initial dealer prep - a common mistake."
It went on to say "it's easy to check this out - just peek into the wheel wells and look for the yellow plastic stoppers."
Two questions. Do any of you find, either a marked difference or, alternatively no difference at all when selecting Tour, Sport or for that matter, Performance. Have to admit that I don't but I normally just ride around the Vegas streets.
Secondly, does anyone have pics of the "shock stuffers" or where they fit?

You should be able to tell the difference in tightness as soon as you switch the control. It tightens almost immidiately.
Here's a picture of the stuffers, but the 2002 model year didn't have them. They only came on with the Magnetic shocks in the F55 package. GM had so much trouble with the dealers not removing them during prep that they started taking them out at the factory in 2004. So unless you have a 2003 or early 2004 with MSRS (F55) you don't need to worry about it. The 2002's had F45 which is a mechanical shock, not a magnetic one, and it is harder to feel the difference in ride with the F45. FWIW
