Good call!! Didn't think of that!! Thanks Chris.
Now I just need to figure out what kind of machine can do a 4 wheel alignment on a radically lowered car.
Stephen
I don't think you're going to have nearly as much of a problem finding the machine as you will figuring out how to get Grond up on it.
Grond looks "TIGHT" Stephen!!! Congrats on the recent laundry list of mods as well. BTW...did you paint the calipers while you had the wheels off? Unfortunately the shadow under the car makes it a little hard to see just how low it is now but there is no mistaking how close the fender is to the top of the tires!
Thanks for the update....Love it...Love it...Love it!!!

It's so low, my knees are almost parallel with my face when I'm trying to get out. I will have to apologise to any ladies in advance because there is no way they could look "elegant" getting out of this thing!!! (not that I have had any ladies in my car cuz I'm a loser)

Thatks everyone for the kind words and support.
To get a truer appreciation of just how low is low - here's some better pix - Grond (01 Coupe) on the left, Icemanski's stock ride height 2000 Coupe on the right

Jack,
I'm one of those guys that do not exist to women - they look right through me. MSc in Math and working on my PhD, 6 figure salary, 160 IQ, well educated, well travelled and very widely read, polite and well mannered, soft spoken - and, I'm told, I'm quite funny. Makes no difference. I'm like the wind - invisible
Or they treat me like a

Chris,
If you do - make sure you know your routes before hand. I now drive to any unknown locations with my beater first before taking Grond.
Once it's this low, you really have to think ahead. I have NO idea how I'm going to make it to the Cruise In with it this low. NY/NJ roads are brutal!!

So that's why you like Neon so much (to keep from being invisible).

Chris,
I have frame savers and rocker rails and take "sleeping policemen" (speed bumps) crab-wise (sideways) always trying to keep at least one wheel on the bump as I go over. So far, so good.
I will have to trim the rubber thing under the nose by about 1/2 an inch. And I hear you - I put 8300 miles on mine since Sept 27th 2004 (the day I bought it). It would have been more but winter got in the way.

EG,
I can tell you are a man of substance and high character and intelligence. That is why I like to give you a hard time because I know you can take it like a man. I should have made myself more clear, it's kind of an inside joke, not meant towards you.
