Thanks for all the great comments.

If anyone wants me to do some of these I have some time right now. I can do the bolster and glove box as well.

I am comtemplating doing my entire center console and radio bezel. Will keep you posted.

Also thinking about doing wood veneer on the lower door panel section. Have the capability and veneer press. Might be cool to have a nice walnut or maple accent on the doors and the partition, could probably do the glove box door and bolster as well. If I get some more cheap interior parts I will experiment.

Again Thanks!

wow, that is amazing.

side note...do you have any links to suppliers for the vinyl? I have a custom box and partition in my trunk that I'd like to cover to match the tan interior.

thanks

Now that's nice work. You've got to take some pics once installed. Great really. So what products did you use to get it to this point?

Here is a link to a manufacturer.

http://www.cgpcamerica.com/t_inside.cfm?action=vinyls_list&vtypeID= 1000&vtypeName=Automotive

What I used is the Enduratex - Sierra Bright Red. It is a shade darker (more red) than the actual Torch Red. Used this because it is heavier and can be embroidered on very well.

There is also a link on the page for Endurasoft - SIERRA LEATHERMATE which has the actual Torch Red. It is lighter weight and more "stretchable", but does not work for embroidery work. It is a very very close match to the Corvette Torch Red. It is more orange than the bright red that I used.
Side by side the Torch Red makes the Bright Red look blood red, but that is because the Torch has so much orange in it.

There are many sample colors for each variety.

There are also links on the page to contact a sales rep in your area, they should be able to point you to a firm close to you that sells it. Although, you may only be able to find it wholesale, which could be a problem for some.

I don't think they would pay me engineer wages to do it when they can get it done in Mexico for pennies.
