Which Optima Battery?

I am wanting to get a Optima Red Top, but see different models...
Is the 34/78 right for a "98? Help me out... Thanks

Optima SC34U = 34/78 fits perfectly in my 99 C5 with stock hold down clamp...

I bought a Red Top last month and have not had a problem with it so far - The Model number I got was a 75/25 - WHAT is the difference in the 75/25 and the 78/34 most people on the Forum has got?

78/34 has 800 cca compared to 720 of 75/25 and is a little heavier also slightly larger.

It will depend on whether or not you have added things like an aftermarket stereo/amp, etc., but the 34/78 is the Red Top I am running (mine is stock in terms of electrical items).
