Rhino ramps
I am getting ready to buy some rhino ramps and I recall there is a specific set so we can get our C5's up on them. Does anyone know the model #? Thanks

Still have to put out a plank before you go up on them or you'll ever so slightly scrape still. I thought I wouldnt' scrape, but nope, they do.
Still worth getting though.
Got mine at O'Reily's, $20 bucks.

Get the one with a picture of a C5 on the box. Oh, by the way they only raise the front by 6 inches.

The grey ones are wide enough to fit your tires and are the heavy duty version.

Might I suggest something to go under them..they say non-skid but mine tend to move...I have found that the rubber mesh stuff that you line cabinets with...don't know WTF you call it but it is sold by the roll works great...it is used in tool boxes as well..anyway you can get it at wally world also if you have the slipping problem

I purchased the 12000 lb capacity - also has the C5 picture on label, however, I can't get my 04' up on it without greatly, and I mean greatly, bending the air dam. Anyone have photos of make shift ramp that was addressed in this thread?
thanks, chris

The gray ones are the best. Almost any auto parts store or Wal-Mart will have them.

Get two pair and use your floor jack to set the car on the ramps. Great for working under the car.

The air dams are made to bend, it is not a problem.

You have a good idea with the homeade ramps......maybe you could patent that and make some money.
