Quick feeler, if you found a 2002 all option automatic black mint coupe with both tops for 30,000 even, would a grey interior deter you from buying it? Is this even a good price, I kind of wanted a black interior, but this car seems like it will save me a couple thousand.

Grey, no problem.
02 @ 30k,A4, maybe a little problem
If you don't like it, big problem.
I like the grey, that doesn't matter.
That is the exact car that I have. I like the grey personally, that part is up to you. I think the price being good or bad largely depends on the mileage of the car and condition. You say it is mint, so I would have to assume it is very well kept with say 15k miles or less.
To give you a little more insight, I bought mine with 10K miles in July for 30K in what I would call near mint condition also. I don't have the second roof or selective ride control though. I think I got a good deal, at least for the time.
In my opinion, if the car is truly like new and has less than 20K miles I'd call it a good deal. Hope this helps you out.
I think the grey will look good, but then I'm one of the biased ones too. I have the NBM and the dark color looks good with the light interior. Plus with the lighter color it won't get as hot in the summer time as an all black interior. Seems like a pretty good price for a 2002 also. Good luck with it!

I like the grey interior, here is my 04 torch red vert with the light grey.

I love my black/black/grey convertible. I don't know how rare it is, but I have several friends with 3X black cars - the black interior shows every particle of dust ond dirt, much like the paint!
Sorry here is more info the car is mint mint mint it is at Carmax, so trust me it is worked over with new brakes and tires. The mileage is 20,000 miles. Sales tax in Texas on cars so I will save 1200 in taxes as compared to buying from a private seller. (when you trade a car in as I will you only pay taxes on the difference between trade in value and second car value, buy one simply outright and tax is applied to all cars. No difference in tax laws in Texas if you buy used from private seller.)
Wow these forums are too cool for words. The pictures really really help, thank you! I think it is ok because I am in Texas and it is hot hot hot, plus the interior is mostly black and I can live with a little grey thrown in there.
