Better go check the rear of your car as it seems like someone maybe put a "I HATE REDNECKS" bumper sticker on there without your knowing!!!! Glad you made it home unscathed!!
Wow... sounds like a whole lot of trouble in a very short time. I hope they hang the guy that threw the beer can.. You did the right thing reporting it and then pulling off the road...
It really makes me mad when people throw things out of a window or just plain do stupid things to others cars. It is just pure jealousy. Why do people resort to this kind of behavior? As far as I'm concerned, they are a bunch of lazy A$$ES and they are PI$$ED at the world because they can't have one (vette). They never seem to realize that people like myself worked my A$$ off and went without a lot of other things so I could buy my vette.
However I am pleased to hear that you handled it like a man, and didn't do something stupid. The people in this forum are the best. Glad you or your car were not hurt!

You are very correct vetterdstr. You can get into some serious trouble if you confront a$$holes like this. I know, believe me. I ended up with 1 year probation and all the fu#$heads got was a free trip to the hospital. Never again, from now on if someone screws with me on the road I just avoid them, I do not even call the police (like I did last time).
Sorry to hear about that. One day about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I had a triple dose of MS morons almost wrecking into me. At least they didn't throw any beer cans at me.
believe me when i say this, the vette for some weird reason make people do stupid things.....lots of idiots out there, just gotta be extra extra careful
Not that I recommend this, because I know it can't be justified legally...but tossing cans at vehicles means that all bets are off. I fired 3 rounds into the trailer of an 18 wheeler that threw a half full can of Pepsi into my Jeep on I-81 in Virginia. Just to clarify, I wasn't aiming for the driver...just his cargo. It wasn't so much the mess on my car, but the impact and noise. He scared me, caused me to swerve and I almost wrecked. I don't think he'll toss any more cans.
Probably wouldn't do that now that I've grown up a bit, but I don't regret it.
Yeah I have a similar story already, and I picked up my z06 on the 3rd of this month! It was actually on the drive home with her, from Mississippi to Tampa. I'm cruising, and there is a car in front of me with 5 female occupants. First came a bag of potato chips, then a damn half full water bottle. I was so pissed.

If the A..hole felt threatened, he might have decided to throw lead instead of beer cans, especially if he was, in the "alcoholic zone".
You did the right thing.
