Went out for a drive this morning (looked at the C-6). got back in the car and the DIC displayed; "Trac Control Warming Up".....according to the manual this is a normal occurance (though I had not seen it in the year I've owned her)....then it hit me; I wish I could post the same sign on myself at work ("Don't bother me, still warming up")

I have found that if you start the car, place in "Drive" and don't exceed 11mph for the first few seconds (20-30) that display will show up. Common occurrance when I'm in the parking garage at work.

I've seen the message Active Handling Warming Up and it was after I had been driving the car for over a hour. I had stopped for a few minutes and pulled away very slowly for a while when I saw it. Always wondered why it wasn't warmed up enough.

From: I'm a Texan, but I traded the horse for the Vette.
Yeah man, I'm on spring break in south-east Texas and wow is it not cold, wet, muddy, crappy, need I go on? I wanted to at least take the targa off the Vette and go fishin' for girls....

About the T/C AHS "warming up" message, I've seen that a few time and just figured the computers doing whatever it needs to do....
What's it actually doing?? anyone know?
Evidently if you turn your wheels before the car has rolled 10 to 15 feet it will come up with that message. It's checking out the wheels and stuff and I guess if you turn the vehicle before it's completed the task it comes up with that message. At least that's my story and I am sticking to it.
