Myself I have not taken my vette out yet this year. We are in a record
breakin winter with about 110 inches of snow for the season.
Who else has not been able to take there vette's out because of snow?
I think I'm at least 2 weeks away if we don't get anymore snow.
I'm up in NH and quietly going mad. What I did yesterday was start her up and move her a little. The noise of the pipes and torque of engine from rev's will help the mood some. Winter has to leave ugly up here doesn't it!.
I feel bad for you guys in the frozen tundra of the northlands.
Down here in Dallas, it'll be 66 and sunny tomorrow. Good day to drive the FRC to work. Hope you get some springtime soon!
is this the thread i should mention i went camping all last weekend, in just a tent with no thick blanets. Or that i had the vette out crusiing today with the top off?
Chris
Sorry you guys are missing your vettes you time will come!
Yeah, it was a crappy winter here in Ontario also combine it with no NHL hockey and I'm starting to get cabin fever. It really sucks, I don't know what else I could say to better describe it ...
I live in NE Ohio and my Vette has not been out this year either. We have had a few good days, but with all the salt and slag left on the roads, I just can't take her out.
Spring is just around the corner and I can't wait no more.

I haven't gotten mine out yet either, but not totally due to snow. First there was road constuction, combined with lots of wet weather, and a little snow. Soon I hope to have her back on the road.
Today it reached 50 here... I put the top down and was cruizing at about 75-80 for an hour. I think I have a head cold now.
Don't feel bad, it was about 35 degrees this morning in NYC and I saw a guy in his Mercedes SL500 ride with the top down. And I thought WE were an anxious bunch!
I feel all of "yous" pain. Even with a snowblower, I haven't been able to keep up with the snow. Can't remember if my driveway is paved or not, it's been so long. Up here, once the snow is melted off the roads, then we have a month of dust and gravel to contend with until the road crews decide to sweep it off. Think I'll move.

I feel for you guys. Jersey (appears) to be quickly heading to Spring. Weather in the mid to high 40's and no snow in the forecast...... I might actually, get my C5 out this weekend.
Down here in Ohio there is this large yellow disk in the sky.
Haven't seen it in some time but yesterday evening was a nice night to take out the Vette.
Temp is also 60 degrees so I'm sure warmer temps will be heading your way soon.
They shoulda shot that friggin ground hog.
Sorry guys, I have to apologize, the lingering cold weather is entirely my fault. I bought my C5 this past January (Thinking I could get a good deal in the middle of winter.) and drove it from the dealer to my house, (3 miles max.) put it in the garage and it has been snowing ever since.
I walk by it every day on my way out into the frozen tundra and wonder what it would be like to actually drive the damn thing.
Oh well, it will probably still be snowing in July.
Mine has been in the garage since November 15th. Just replaced the battery this past Sunday and may drive it within a few weeks hopefully. This waiting is driving me
