Well today I drove my first Z06. It was a Z16 with 2200 miles on it and it is for sale. All I can say is WOW what a car. Sold my Ruby a few weeks ago and have been looking for a Z16 or ZR1 since. I had basically given into the idea of staying with only one Vette until I passed this one for sale. Now if I can just get the price to where I can get the checkbook keeper to agree with me spending the money

Bought a new Z16 on Monday great price plus the dealer had stored indoors since he recieved in March of 2004! Perfect condition so it has not been under 30 snow storms (Michigan) It is to be delivered tommorrow or friday.

She's really a fine machine! Go get her home! 2004's had the tune leaned out slightly compared with previous years. Carbon fiber hood, decals, emblems and polished wheels and man does she stand out in a crowd of C5's!

I would also expect a better price compared with a standard C5 Z06 in the years to follow there are not may left to ****** up. When they are gone off the shelf someone will be looking for a Z16 and have to pay or go without until some other one shows up for sale. It is the same for a 96 Grand Sport option code Z16; our cousin for the C4 generation.

The Z16 has a few distinctive features that set it apart from a standard Z and it was a limited production run similar to the 96 GS.

GM will never produce another corvette that has stripes like these. It is a very distinctive look and even though they are decals which I am not fond of I still love this car! It is red, white and blue and a wicked looking beast according to those meeting it on the street for the first time. My friends tell me it gets their blood flowing when it comes up on them in the rear view mirror. Very intimidating presence on the street!

Must be the one at Roger Dean Chevy. I saw it the other day on my way home. What are they asking for it? I was looking hard for one until I kind of tripped over an 02 QS Z06 that was priced at wholesale last month. Good luck, hope you get it.
