I read a posting several weeks ago stating that active handling came on later year 98+ C5's and could tell by whether or not it said "Active Handling" or "Traction Control" over the center console button. I don't have any writing on the center console at all, nor anything in the glove box indicating the option. I would have just dismissed having it, but i swear i've seen "Active Handling" on the DIC when i had to drive the car in the winter over ice. Do I have it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Between the center console and the shift lever you should have a little button - that's the traction control button (turns it off and on),

I have a 99 coupe - Basic model. There's a little button (on/off) where you say it is (Between the console and shifter).. So, do I have the active handling or just traction control...????

Look at your RPO code label on the glove box door, look for JL4. If you don't see that RPO code you don't have AH.
