Which air filter would you people say is the better replacement for my 2000 A4, K&N or Fram air hog? Or does it even matter?
Thanks in advance for the imput.

Unless your going to install an aftermarket filter system seems like just replacing the ACDelco is a very good alternative. I've had a K&N drop in, WIX and Delco, and honestly can't tell the difference. Have seen some recent articles on the forums that the ACDelco provides best airflow and protection.
Filters better than K&N and such (been proven, search) You not going to get 10hp from a panel filter. Maybe 5 from a blackwing type, but is it worth the 300 smackers, you decide.
agree 100%.......
unless your engine is highly modified, the only significant change you'll get with the oiled filters in more sand thru your engine. I went with the std. Fram CA3914
I have a K&N, Z06 airbox that I drilled out even more, and a smooth air coupler. Having done all that, I wish I'd just gotten the Halltech Stinger. What I have isn't bad, but I bet for the $ or close to it I could have had the Stinger.
