Will taking off cats be a reasonable gain to compliment corsa's with cutouts? I took off the cats in my old 84 camaro and it did wonders, I realize the cats back then must have been a little less refined.
I'll help get this thread going. Are you running stock manifolds and stock cats. Hi-flows cats are pretty efficient as well are the stock cats if you are running stock manifolds. I havent read about great gains made by removing the cats, normally around 5rwhp or so. Some people complain about the exhaust smell, others have no problems.

Yep, stock manifolds, headers will have to wait till next year. I thought maybe taking off cats when I get the Indys put on, might make a difference when I open the cutouts. I'm starting to get the feeling headers on this car make a bigger difference, than on many others.
