is shaking at 150 normal?
there is some very noticable vibration. the rear-view vibrates bad enough that you can't even see behind you with it. Up to 140 it's fine.
just an alignment issue?

You can have your wheels rebalanced. I hit 150 once. Not really interested in doing it again.

Alignment or balance. I'd check the balance first.

I notice alot of vibration on the videotape of my rides over 140, most recently at VIR. I think this is normal turbulence. It may not be as bad if the windows were up, but they are always down at the track.
I think alignment issues are likely to be felt at lower speeds. One wheel out of balance gave me a vibration at 80 mph.
At 140, I am concentrating on everything. In 4th gear, this is just before the shift to 5th. My car feels solid, but there is alot more information to process at that speed. I have not lowered my car. I have a rake of 3/4" from front to back. With less of a rake, the front end seemed to get light at that speed.

Mine is solid as a rock all the way up to 165!!! However, boy does my passenger window whistle and my knuckles turn white at that speed.

Most likely tire balance, alignment does not affect or cause vibrations. Are you certain it's really an abnormal vibration eminating from the car/tires etc. and not buffeting at high speeds?

Close to 160, but I thought the top was going to rip off. Other than that, it was solid as a rock, and I had no problem playing with the radio.

Once I go past 148, I don't look in the rear view mirror anymore

Have your tires balanced on a Hunter Roadforce machine. I had a vibration at about 100 and now it is gone.
