Just got back from Spring Mountain!
All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!! This course was great,the instructor's Vic,both Dave's, Matt and Barry were excellent.Learned controlled panic braking and avoidance and how to heel toe downshift,have not perfected it yet,but with practice will get better.This was a great course which taught me the basic's for road course racing,which I plan on doing after taking this course.I highly recommend this course for the beginner or the advanced driver and is very addictive........ Ed

Awesome! Did they have a list of reference materials that would be handy to read and study for experimentation before going to school? There is not a lot of good material out there only a couple of sources.

This was there 3 day Level 1 course that cost $2200 w/ the corvette forum discount of $150.The day is from 8 to 4-4:30 w/lunch included.90% of the time your in the car driving with a two way radio installed to further instruct you as your going around the track.10% is spent in the class room learning and reviewing what they want you to do out on the track.Dave P. the manager did mention a few good reads on professional driver's but I don't remember them offhand.I was more concerned w/driving the Z06.Try a bookstore or a local speed shop for road racing books. Ed
