The short story:
I drove the C6 coupe (more rigid then the convertible). If you're a Z06 owner, you will not like it. The clutch is like a light switch. It engages all the way on the floor (with no effort and NO feedback). The steering feels like fly by wire - again NO feedback. The car conveys pretty much no information to you - it's soft like a Caddy. It slid into and off of the corner - but without feedback it was purely visual ques that allowed me to do that. (Well that and nine years of roadracing superbikes.) Basically it confirmed for me that I don't like the C6. I already didn't like the styling, and now I know that I don't like driving it either. I think perhaps GM is trying to say, "Buy the XLR - it rides the same and it looks better."
