Default Need Help ASAP (Dynotech Supermaxx)

If anyone has installed the Dynotech Supermaxx Long Tube headers on a C5, I need help ASAP. Please PM me your phone number I would like to speak to someone with experience on them. I have run into a few major problems with my install. I cannot get the passenger side header to go down through the opening. Haven't even tried the driver yet.

Thanks in advace,
Todd

Todd,
Drop CF member "connecticut" a PM. He installed a SuperMaxx system yesterday (I went up to eyeball the install) and it was interesting to see how everything went together. Installing the 4 O2 sensors was an interesting nut to crack.

Hope you get it all sorted out.

Stephen

I cannot believe that such products are sold without clear instructions to deal with these issues... sheesh! It isn't like they are cheap or the solutions necessarily obvious (at least, in some cases).

All the best.

Did you have to jack up the motor and remove the coil packs? Thats what I had to do on my StainlessWorks headers.

Move starter. Clear wires out of the way. Remove coilpacks. remove valve cover. remove plugs. Install from BELOW (lift highly recommended)

Good to go.

EG
that's what I did, and make SURE all the wires are out of the way as you would not want to cut your oil level sensor wire that goes in the oil pan
