We had a good trip down from SC to Daytona Beach today.
No Tickets = Good Trip!
One section of I-95 south of Savannah took us 38 minutes to go 5 miles due to excessive rubber necking at a wreck in the north bound lanes.
Someone let us know where to meet Saturday night. Our cell phone is (803) 548-7750

orlando guys.... we are meeting at chris's house tom. around 6pm. anyone is welcome to show up and cruise up to daytona with us. his address is 101 CLARET CT, in ORLANDO. do a mapquest for directions.
plan is to meet up in daytona around 7/7:30 at the ruby tuesdays accross from the daytona international speedway. hope that works with everybody. we will be there, and hopefully some of you will make it out!

What a Rotten Day here in Daytona Beach, FL.
The Vette is sitting outside my brother's garage covered with 300 miles of road filth from the trip down yesterday. It is foggy and pouring rain as I type this and thunderstorms predicted off & on all day.
I will at least hose it off a couple of times today but I don't think it will be really clean again until next week when we get home and it dries off.
RUBY TUESDAY's across from Daytona International Speedway sounds great! Carol & I will be there tonight at 7:30.
If it is raining and we can't visit in the parking lot we can at least tell lies around the bar.
Corvettes are for having fun and making new friends and NO, they don't melt in the rain.

but... im pretty sure im still up for the cruise up there. the chance of rain is supposed to lessen as the night goes on. by the time we get up there, 7:30ish.... we can grab something to eat, and HOPEFULLY the rain will be over by then and we can go out for a cruise together!

Carol & I spent the day cruising Daytona Beach and shopping. Picked up some BBQ and took it to my Mom's for lunch and had a great visit with her.
We recruited a C-6 and a C-4 for the MeetUp tonight at Ruby Tuesday's.
Even got onto the beach and cruised the beach for awhile.
Driving a Vette sure is fun! New Friends and new places!
Looking forward to the MeetUp tonight.
We are about to head for Mario's Italian Restaurant to pick up dinners to go and head for my Mom's place for dinner.
