Hey folks, i'm at my house, looks like nobody is joining us from Orlando besides Brian and I. I'm waiting for brian, he was supposed to be here about 15 minutes go...So as soon as he arrives, we're getting gas and hitting the road! See you all soon!

I just left daytona beach yesterday at 7pm
drove 13 hours straight to get back to ohio

they were predictiing quarter size hail and 70mph winds

it rained 3/4 of an inch in 8 min so i left

something about the hurricanes and tornados scared the **** outta me
so i bit the bullet on the 150$ a night hotel i was at and checked out leaving the bed empty

did the weather clear up?

I didnt want to risk any damage to the vette cause im sure its a bitch to find even a windshield on a saturday and i dont feal like driving 937 miles with a cracked windshield

Great to meet everybody who showed up tonight ..had a great time ..hope to do something like this again soon.

C5YA Later,
Jack

Yes the weather did clear up...don't blame you for wanting to get out of the area though...some real bad storms the last couple of days down here in Florida.

And A Good Time Was Had By All...

Great meeting you all and putting some faces with some names on the forum.

I will be back in two or three weeks and maybe we can do it again.

I may be 60 years old but I enjoyed crusing the strip on Atlantic Avenue and admiring all of the girls in their mini skirts. (Yes - I admit to being a dirty old man)

Jim

Sorry I missed it. I was going to come but I am a fair weather driver and even though it stopped raining, the roads were still very wet out here. Hope to catch the train next time around. I think I'd prefer night cruising to day cruising... just like the good ol' days

Yes but nothing beats that blue cowboy hat

Also Jim, you missed 3 tubo diesel trucks doing burn outs in that parking lot to embarras all the imports, it was hillarious. I've never seen a dualie diesel truck drift sideways through a parking lot before

Well Jim when you eventually reappear up here you'll be just in time for the rain. We missed you on the trip up to Spencer on Saturday but it sounds like you were having a fine time down in FL.
