Default Help choosing wheels!

Any one know of a good place that sells custom offset wheels that will fit on the vette & look good? Links photos... anything you got will help me out a ton. It's about that time to fit her with new shoes and I have not even started looking! The wheels can be ether race or looks. Remember she is a wide body so stock wheels don't fit, plus I got ALOT of room to fit some huge meat as well. Thanks for your help!

Best thing to do 1st is set a $$$ amount and purpose......race, looks or both. There are lots of styles to choose from and the $$$ to go with it.
I picked HRE 545s, I run 18 x 12 rears with 345/35/18 tires for the street and 345/30/18 drs for the strip.
Weight of large tires/rims is an issue as mine are 64 lbs ea & 57 lbs ea....but I stilll run the #s I want
We drive this car cross country so I wanted a good strong rim that can take street & racing abuse.
I am a go not show guy, so not many choices for grip in 19s or bigger IMHEO

I-Forged will sweeten your widebody kit ...they should be able to make any offset you desire and you can run a big lip

::drools:: did you say 12 inches wide? Got a side shot of that bad boy? I bet the launch in your car is great.

Well the deal is I just finished a 5 inch wide body kit and now I need to fill the gaps... 2 and a half inch gap that is. So links to sites that carry custom off set and wide wide wheels is what I need. Money at this point is not an issue, but I'll always love a good deal.

You can look through "my corvette photos", my Website and BLONDE C5 photos: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/phot...hen=&whenterm=
to see many more pics but here are a few:

It launches good enough to drive to the track on drs and get into the 10s NA

Lots of rims to choose from but I like these manufactures:
http://www.forgeline.com/
http://www.hrewheels.com/welcome/
http://www.kinesismotorsport.com/
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/speed...dline_info.jsp
I would add CCW but John does not make the rim I like in 18"....
I am with you on a good buy...more to spend else were
I have gotten the best prices from Paul at WCC so far.
Ebay and here has some good $$$ on rims at times.
I got my near new 18 x 12s with drs, tire pressure sensors, lugs and shipped to the door for $2k, a lot of money but a good deal for all that. And that is how I started with HREs and big tires for traction. Each manf will work with you on offsets and if you have big brakes and need clearance.
Good luck, I like spending other folks $$$
