Help corvette wouldn't start!
Yesterday i went to start my car which is an MN6 and it wouldnt turn over! Everything had power, and i made sure i pushed the clutch all the way to the floor, NOTHING. I was getting the same effect as trying to start the car without pushing the clutch in though, so finally i decided to mess with the key fob and the alarm system. After locking and unlocking the car several times it finally started...What could be wrong guys? This is the second time in the past week it's happened! PS: Last week i hit the lock button on the key fob while i was inside which turned the alarm on by accident, then started it....Could this have caused the problem? Thanks!

It's quite possible that setting off the alarm has caused this. Are there any codes stored? You might also try cleaning the resistor pellet on the key with some alcohol.

Check for codes - that is the best way to figure out what is wrong. The symptom sounds like your ignition switch is not sensing the key properly, but codes will tell us for sure.
