how much will headers change sound?

how much will headers change sound?
I have the prt's and want to know how much, if any, it will change the sound of my a4 car. I have picked up a set of shorties from an awsome forum member( mikejamesc5), and I'm not changing cats,..might do an x-pipe though! Any thoughts or experience on this?

It will make it a little louder (really the engine noise is louder due to the thin walls of the headers compared to the manifolds - but as long as you keep the stock CATS it really will not be THAT much louder

Congrats!
It will sound throatier. I don't know if you heard Steve's (Dirty Red) at R&R's but his sounds nice. He told me the headers made it sound better ... maybe shoot him a PM and ask. Good luck. I'd like to hear them after your done ... I've been looking at Kooks myself.
