Default hello, new owner

just picked up an 02 Electron blue z this past weekend. i registered on z06vette.com as well, but have been trolling this site for a while too.
posted a couple questions already over there, maybe you guys can help out.

is there anything negative that can come from the exhaust jingle almost all z's experience...i don't like the idea of cutting into my z to fix it...as long as it's just annoying, that's fine with me, i don't mind.

second, taking it to the dealer on friday to get lojac installed and they're going to put new pads on for me. so, is there any difference/anything negative about he Morse ceramic from autozone. they're $37.99 for the front pair, so is it worth spending double that on the raybestos quiet stops ceramics from pep boys?

lastly, my chrome stock wheels do not have a locking lug, so autozone has a set made by rally i think for $4.99. what is my thread pitch (?), i have gotten 12 X 1.5 and 12 X 1.25 as anwers so far.

thanks for any info guys, great to be in the z06, absolutely love it.

Not as far as I have heard just a resonance.

Brake pads Depends on how you are going to use it. ocasional Track use stick with Stock Zo6 pads. Street use and show use the ceramic as to brand I'd try the AC pads or raybestos myself

Have fun with that new ride,as far as the brake pads go the ceramics are much cleaner than stock but I don't know about the brands.

Welcome aboard, and congrats. I am going the ceramic route also and have been wondering about the cheap pads, but, I don't think this is an area I want to be a tight wad on.
