I got the ASX's because mine is a DD. I love em. Great price, excellent tire. A friend has an 04 and I cannot hardly stand to ride in it because all I can hear is the GY's.
A Corvette with Korean tires just seems wrong somehow. But, thanks for the insight. Will look into to them when GS-D3s wear out.
I've spent consiserable amount of time in Korea during the years, 3 tours and 7 total years. I'm still a little skeptical about some Korea stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the whole country because of a few bad expierences. The Koreans are getting better with their products, but they still don't have good QC programs in place. I've had soldiers get sick from drinking Korean liquoir (not too much, but bad stuff), Korean airlines were falling out of the sky like carzy and the cars were just piles of junk. But, like I said they are getting better.
I'm not too crazy about their labor laws and ethics either. I'm not saying these things to **** anyone off, just one man's opinion. I'll need a little more time before I'll buy tires or cars from the Koreans. There's nothing like driving a Hyundai Sonata down the 8 lane Super Expressway 100+mph and shaking all the way..haha. They make kick a$$ blankets and cellphones though.
Swapped the GY's for the ASX. Seemed like a whole new car. The ride was smooth and quiet, almost scared me. The ASX has an excellent wear rating nearly double the MX rating. So if yours is a daily driver like mine....You can't go wrong with these tires. Excellent ride and wear at an awsome price.
I currently have the MXs on my rear wheels. I looked on tirerack and they have two types of MXs. One is a runflat, and the other isn't. How can I tell if the MXs that I have on the rear of my car are runflats or not?

Thanks,
They should have an EMT designation on them somewhere.
