Cargo area covers

I was wondering if anyone knows why the coupe comes with three covers for the cargo wells in the back (center and both sides) but the FRC only has the center cover (no covers for the side wells). Is it possible to put covers on them?

My parts manual confirms that and shows all three not supplied on the '01-'02 Z06 as well. I would think that they are all supplied on the coupe because the wells are more exposed due to no trunk in the coupe. The center is most likely suppled on all but the Z06 to make the cargo area usable as a flat storage surface and it's probably left off the Z for weight reduction.

I'll bet Evil-Twin could give us the real answer to this question since he actually designed the retaining locks for these covers.

On your coupe all 3 of your storage compartments (in the back) have covers (doors, lids, call them what you will) on them, don't they?
