I'm thinking about getting set of 18s. I wanted to get 18/19 combo but there are no z07 wheels available in that size. I was wondering if set of 18's would disturb the stance of the car.(since you are increasing the size of fronts only). Any opinions?

Use a lower aspect ratio front tire such that the overall tire dia. is relatively close to the orig dia.
Added benefit-stonger turn in, better cornering w/18" fronts w/lower aspect ratio tire.
If you get an 18x9.5 wheel, a 265/35/18 tire would be appropriate.
The overall tire diameters front/rear should be maintained the same or you may have problems w/ ABS
If you are only changing the front try to stay as close to the original wheel dia. as possible.

I personally would recommend having 1 inch bigger in the rear than in the front. I think the c5s look to much like a go cart with the same tires and rims in the front and the rear. I like the higher back end but if you want somewhat of a lowered look having 18's on all corners will do it for you. The car will handle better with 17's on front and 18's on the rear. Look at many cars, pick you favorite setup, and get out the big bucks. I am in the process of getting Z06 Motorsports in the factory Z06 sizes with Michelin Pilot Sport tires! Have fun in your decision and after all its only money and you cant take it with ya.

i don't have the offset info here, handy.... but i've been told if you mount std 18" rears (9.5 wide), front and rear, your front wheels will be have a "track" that is wider than the rear. ????
has anyone tried it/measured?
in 18", i would think a 255 40 on the front 25.2" tall, and 295 35 on the rear, 26.1" tall, would make a nice combo (still maintain the ~1" rake)
