I am considering the purchase of a quiet ride divider for my C-5 coupe. Has anyone here tried it? If so a couple of questions:
1. Is this a barrier or a true sound absorber? In other words, does it eliminate vision out the rear window?
2. Does it work?
3. How much does it limit cargo space?
4. Does anyone have a picture of one installed that they could post?

if your talking about the partitions that are sold...they arent for our coupes....
if you find one made for the coupe i will buy one also...i did several searches and requested info from the different manuf..that make the dividers and none to date make one for the coupe...targa top....
hope this helps...i thought i'd try making one myself...by first installing the 4-point bolt in rollbar and having some sort of board fab'd to mount to the bars and then adding carpet or other material....
trust me...if some one would make a unit for this..i would buy it right now!!!
I feel kinda stupid, I am new on the C-5 side. I saw this on one of the web sites and I thought it was made for verts and coupes. I really would like to get one though, if it existed...
What they make for coupes are a set of brackets that allows the rear hatch to stay open just a crack - it cuts down on that air buffeting you get in a coupe.
There's an old thread around here somewhere that shows a custom made one a guy made for his coupe out of plexiglass or lexan.
It did look pretty nice, but I like being to toss stuff over my shoulder or grab something I put in back for long trips. I don't have a noise problems anymore with my new non runflat tires.
