Default We got a "thing" goin' on!

I just wanted to tell everyone thanks! I'm "off" for about 2-1/2 months every winter for what we call on the Great Lakes, "lay-up". In that time so much has happened for me and my Baby. You guys/gals have been here all along, with your wisecracks and good advice, and I've had a really wonderful time!

It may sound kinda stupid, but I really feel like I belong to something special being a member of this forum. I really do mean that!

I'll be able to get online once a week or so cause I've got a used laptop and a wireless connection that works fairly well. So, I'll be able to keep an eye on ya's to see what kind of extraordinary stuff your all up to! But, I'm going to miss checking in on things whenever I get the urge!

Good luck to EVERYONE with their Vettes and mods. I sincerely hope that all turns out just like you want, even better!

Buying and modding my Corvette, and especially belonging to this Forum, has been a couple of the most fun, and most interesting things in my life! Thanks to ALL of YOU!!!

Now, spring "fit-out" is here. I've got to get my gear together, and get outta here! This is a Great Forum, and I'm sure you guys/gals will keep it great till I get back!

All the BEST to ALL of YOU,
Doug

I transfered this year to the M/V Walter J. McCarthy Jr. I think we might get a load or two into that Lakefront Ore Dock. It's operated by Olgebay Norton. My Company, American Steamship Company, and Olgebay Norton are thick as Thieves, no pun intended! If we do, I'll try to let you know before hand, and maybe you could stop down and have dinner! That would be great!

Do you mind if I show my sig again? You don't? Thanks, I will then!
