Default Engine Mod. Advice

I a 98 convert. with 26,000 miles on it and I'm looking for a good tuner like Mallett in the New England area to install headers, cam, heads etc. Also I have Borla Stingers with a X pipe and it sounds good but how do you get that old v8 sound? Mustangs have got it.

Thanks
Lunatic

there are several good tuners in your area. Check with Cartek, ECS or Vette Dr's. All three should be able to do anything you need done

An LS1/LS6/LS2/LS7 will never sound like a 283/327/350. They have a different firing order. The heads and lower end are totally different animals. With the right headers and exhaust system you can make some sweet music with the new generation engines but not exactly the same. Now if you really want to invent something that will sell, figure out how to make an LS2/LS7 sound like a Big Block Midyear Side Exhaust Car. That will get my money!

The LS series has always sounded Weak when compared to the LT1/LT4. There's no way around it.
