? about COMPETITIVE MODE? inside plz...

Last Thursday when I went to the track I put car in competitive mode, did a little burn out, ran, and at the end of my first run ----"Warm Up Complete" scrolled across the display.

It has never done this before. Thought it was pretty cool, but what was warmed up? I had just driven car 20 miles to get to track, should have already been warmed up.

Mine has done that before.....It's the Active Handling warming up.....and what it actually warms up...I have no idea

I'm not sure there is any real "warm-up" of anything. I think I've seen information posted here in the past that the system needs to calibrate itself. To do that, you need to drive in a straight line for a certain small distance. I'm not sure why it needs to do this, but I see it every once in a while with my car too.

I have seen it only on the first start and drive in a day . Or I have not been paying attention later .

It happens from time to time -- until the system calibrates itself.

Competitive Mode = Active Handling On and Traction Control Off.

Depending on your year, come to a stop, hold down the TC button for six or seven seconds.
