Hurst shifter install in '04 C5

Hurst shifter install in '04 C5
I just received the Hurst shifter, #391 5085. On the box it says its for a '97-00 Corvette C5 w/BW T-56 transmission.
My naive question: Is it compatible with the '04 C5?
You'd think the mfg. would have updated the box since 2000. Unless I've got the wrong part.
I'd hate to disassemble my shift tunnel only to find there is something quirky about this shifter because it is the wrong part.

It fits. There is only one Hurst billet shifter for the C5 and it fits all '97-'04 manual models.

I already had that link bookmarked and ready to refer to during the installation. You did a great job on that web page.
Did you happen to measure the difference in length from the base of the stock shifter to top of threads of the shaft vs. same distance on Hurst? I'm curious how much shorter it is.

Can't exactly remember but I believe it was approx. 1" shorter than stock. You'll be able to measure them directly when you get your's in. Here's a shot of the C5, C6 and Hurst shifters side-by-side.
