Had to remove my hood liner and when I did the chrome fasteners started flaking. I gotthem from ChromeCo and just another example of poor quality. I might just paint my old ones glossy black unless I can find someone who sells chrome ones. Does anybody know where to get chrome fasteners? They are such an uglyand cheap plastic part of the car. Any help is appreciated. Doug
Thanks, but they are the metal ones that have to be drilled and s crewed in. ChromeCo designed those and are selling them through Ecklers and they are a pain in the butt; I sent them back to them and asked for the stock ones chromed, which they did a bad job with. I saw some nice ones at Carlisle show but no one was around to ask.

I made some out of acrylic mirror material, used a 1 3/4 hole saw and attached then to the original fasteners with adhesive, ran a small bead of silicone around the edges to fill any gaps, a couple of hours and $7 for the acrylic mirror piece....
