Default 19/20 setups

anyone have 18/19 or 19/20 wheel combinations on their c5? i tried searching through the specific wheel section but i'm just trying to get owner feedback on the larger rims and the overall possible complaints with them being larger as i can't find much in the wheel section.

i'd appreciate it if anyone had something to share.

I have about 25,000 miles on my 19/20" setup.

Rides nice, looks great, handling feel is much crisper and more responsive, traction is ok.

ZERO complaints. If I were starting over, I'd definitely continue to run 19/20's.

275/30x19 and 305/25x20 and lowered......No problems. On the C6 I am going to do 20's in the front and 22's in the rear.

beautiful rides indeed. no one that has the 19/20 has a complaint then for the most part. i'm not looking for racing, traction isn't the biggest issue in a straight line but i am looking for overall road use. obviously if common sense is used and the wheels are based on what would be normal use i'm just wondering how bad they are to drive with. thanks alot, i appreciate it.

You won't have a problem with the driving... more so the minor (or major for some) headache of not having run-flats and the tire sensor mounting. The sensors can fit on most wheels... on others you have to band/epoxy them. You will also need a flat tire kit (jack,etc)... maybe roadside assistance. These are just some additional things to consider before you make the move. Most other vehicles do not use run-flats... so it is very easy to change to a different wheel set-up. Ask all the questions before you get the wheels. I know a few people who have bought wheels... then ran into problems that they did not know of.
