another vote here for the permanent protection.....I had Stongard installed last year and love it.....it's not cheap, but you never have the hassle of putting on/taking off the bra and/or having to worry about grit between the bra and the paint....
Yet another vote for 3M Invisibra - it's got several names, but it's all the same. Have a professional install it. For under $500 I had the whole front bumper, headlights, base of hood, mirrors, and wheelwells done. Hard to see until you get close, will not fade/scratch your paint, will absorb most small rock hits (much cheaper than painting the front of your car).
Great stuff.
I had a Colgan Bra for 3 years and I had to modify it several times. The headlight coverlets kept blowing off above 70 mph.
I don't recommend Colgan at all. I attempted for 18 months to contact customer service. Always reached a recording. No one ever called back. I threatened to note on this forum, but no response, so I did post.
Something changed at the company - I had a bra for another car and service and product were great, but that was 1998.
